Today marks a historic milestone for the Young Democrats of Louisiana as we proudly announce our first-ever endorsement for a candidate running for the Louisiana State Legislature. After thorough review and debate, the Young Democrats of Louisiana have voted to officially endorse Quentin Anthony Anderson in the special election for State Senate, District 14 (Baton Rouge area).

As we step into the realm of endorsements for statewide elections, we recognize the importance of setting a strong precedent—not just in who we endorse, but in why we endorse them. This decision reflects our values, our integrity, and our unwavering commitment to supporting candidates who represent bold, people-first leadership. After careful consideration of all candidates, we believe Quentin Anthony Anderson is the clear choice to fight for the people of District 14 and champion the values of the Young Democrats of Louisiana.

For far too long, money has dominated politics—but we believe it’s time for the people to take back control. Government should be of the people, by the people, and for the people—not just for the PACs and lobbyists with the deepest pockets. We know Louisianians are ready for real change. We’ve heard your concerns, your calls for strong Democratic candidates, and your desire to see them supported. Quentin Anthony Anderson represents that change.

Now, it’s time to take action. Early voting begins Saturday, February 1st, 2025, and runs through Saturday, February 8th, 2025. We urge you to turn out and vote for #1 on the ballot – Quentin Anthony Anderson. If you cannot make it out then, Election Day is Saturday, February 15th, 2025.
